We offer tailored comprehensive programs, classes and webinars that provide education for professionals such as educators, academic staff and interpreters, creating unique opportunities to gain skills and knowledge in human sexuality. We carefully design each workshop to best support the professionals in your organization. We believe in providing professionals with accurate knowledge and effective tools in order to connect with themselves and the Deaf community.
Through training and education, jooux breaks down stigmas and stereotypes, and normalizes sexuality, gender expression, and sexual and reproductive health services. jooux provides distance learning and in-person training opportunities using collaborative and adult learning principles.

There are limited resources available to access for professional development regarding sexual health. We aim to equip staff with the knowledge and skills needed to foster a supportive and affirming environment for students. Our training sessions can improve educators, academic staff, and student life staff’s knowledge and comfort with the subject matter and use of effective teaching skills.
Why should American Sign Language interpreters take our training sessions?
With a team of trained sexuality educators who have had experience working in the Deaf community for more than a decade, our training sessions’ purpose is to provide interpreters opportunities to increase their comfort and confidence in sexuality interpreting, whether it is in an educational or healthcare setting.
